{"id":744,"date":"2015-04-08T19:23:09","date_gmt":"2015-04-08T19:23:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/maishaproject.org\/christmas\/?p=744"},"modified":"2018-03-05T19:23:59","modified_gmt":"2018-03-05T19:23:59","slug":"celebrate-and-sing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/maishaproject.org\/christmas\/celebrate-and-sing\/","title":{"rendered":"Celebrate and Sing"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>The Light the Future Choir will be performing this weekend from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 12 in Kenya at the Nairobi Pentecostal Church.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/maishaproject.org\/christmas\/useruploads\/images\/blog\/choircelebration.jpg\" width=\"718\" height=\"930\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The 18 choir members will sing and share their life changing stories with the congregation.<\/p>\n<p>In Oct. and Nov. 2014, the group traveled to the annual Light the Future Gala and performed for many churches while in Oklahoma.<\/p>\n<p>A group will return to Oklahoma again for the 2015 gala, which will be held on Nov. 7, 2015. Many children are preparing for the upcoming choir auditions.<\/p>\n<p>The Maisha staff began working on the 2015 gala plans at a meeting last week.
